10 minute sketches

Today I quickly sketches 3 possible dresses. The first has a low cut top part, with some symmetrical lines underneath. The second one is a very simple dress with "poof" at the bottom and the third dress a a simple gown with chiffon at the bottom!

Cobalt&Aquamarine

Cobalt&Aquamarine are the colors of this dress. I have always wanted a dress just like this, some sort of peplum top of the dress thing, and then following the elegance of the dress makignthe dress a gown. The color in the dress is what really attracts me; a very powerful color with lot's of feeling into it. The messy lines which are drawn at the bottom and the middle part of the dress are intended to be some sort of feather thing, I want to learn how to really draw those details!

For this sketch I used Rebhan Nr.85/12 Colors: Zinnoberot, and Schwarz. Some shades are done with pastel pencils from Conte A Paris.

The sketch.

Since a very young age I've been completely surrounded by art. Since I was little I created cards, scrapbooks, tags, and "mini albums". I have a enormous collection of craft supplies, which are now coming into my use once again. Since I was little I always liked to sketch dresses, shirts and overall outfits, I used to watch runways shows and take notes on them. I gave myself a chance to start sketching again, and I am actually very intrigued by it, I thought that I was going to be a complete failure at the first minute, but actually I am not THAT bad...

I plan posting everyday on different sketches and any future illustrations I might be doing.

For this sketch I used pastel pencils from Conte A Paris (my mom gave these to me; she also enjoyed drawing/sketching/painting)
